The Club is operated by PT Exertainment Indonesia (the Company) whose principal objective is to provide health and leisure facilities for Club Members and their Guests. The Home Club is where a member joins and pays the fees. The Company has appointed a Management team (the Management) who are responsible for the operation of the Club in accordance with these Rules as amended from time to time.

  • Membership is personal to the Member and is nonassignable, non-transferable and non-refundable. A Member may not loan his/her Membership card or permit it to be used by anyone. The Company may assign the benefit of these agreements to any person, firm or company at any time without notice to the Members.
  • Memberships are only considered valid once all required membership details have been clearly entered into and/or attached to the Membership Application Form. The member is required to inform the club in writing in the event of any change of information. The Management may temporarily suspend a membership in the event of any missing information or documentation.
  • Membership is subject to the Rules of the Club as are from time to time in force and which may be amended by the management at any time. The Management reserves the right to reject an application for Membership to the Club for any reason whatsoever.
  • Upon acceptance, the Member will be issued with a Membership card (which shall remain the property of the Company) and the Member shall be entitled to all the rights and privileges exercisable by the class of Membership for which his/her application has been accepted. If a Membership card is lost or mislaid, the Management will issue a replacement card for a processing charge.
  • Memberships are transferable only in exceptional circumstances. An administration fee will apply for such transfers. The new member accepting the transferred membership is required to pay the monthly dues current at the time of transfer. The new member will not receive a Gymbag or Take Action session.
  • Any Member entering the Club without a valid Membership card will only be admitted at the absolute discretion of the Management.
  • Membership Categories
    1. Home: The member can only enter and use his/her Home Club.
    2. Merah Putih: The member can enter and use all facilities from all Celebrity Fitness Indonesia.
    3. Student: A member between the age of 14 to 21 and signed up for a student membership with valid proof of birthdates. He/She will be deemed a regular member at the age of 22 and will automatically be charged the prevailing monthly membership fee without prior notice. A valid Student ID Card or ID Card (if any) is required to continue for members under the age of 21. The member can only enter and use his/her Home Club.
    4. Dual Brand: The member can enter and use the facilities at all Fitness First and Celebrity Fitness clubs in Indonesia and in certain other countries. Additional terms and conditions are specified in the separate Dual Brand addendum that the member is required to sign.
    5. The Lifestyle or Lifestyle+ membership is for a minimum commitment period (MCP) of 12 or 18 months, excluding months in which the membership is in Freeze. If a member on a Lifestyle membership wishes to Freeze his/her membership while within the MCP, the months on Freeze will not count toward the MCP and the MCP will be adjusted accordingly.
    6. Membership is only available to those aged 14 or older. Applicants below the age of 17 require approval from a parent or guardian.
    7. The Premier membership is for a minimum commitment period (MCP) of 4 months and will continue automatically after the MCP.
    8. The Lifestyle membership is for a minimum commitment period of 12 months and will continue automatically after the MCP. If a member wishes to cancel his/her Lifestyle membership while within the MCP, a contract cancellation fee of Rp 600,000 will be charged.
    9. The Lifestyle+ membership is for a minimum commitment period of 18 months and will continue automatically after the MCP. If a member wishes to cancel his/her Lifestyle+ membership while within the MCP, a contract cancellation fee of Rp 750,000 will be charged.
    10. The Month by Month (MBM) membership does not have a minimum commitment period and continues automatically on a monthly basis.
    11. Off-peak membership entitles members to use the club facilities only at certain times. On weekdays, off-peak members may only access the club from 6am to 4pm. On Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, off-peak members may access the club at any time during operating hours.
    12. Lump sum prepaid term membership plan is available upon request. Lump sum membership terms will automatically end at the end of the minimum term unless renewed. PT Exertainment Indonesia reserves the right to transfer balance prepaid term memberships to other Clubs where operations or services of a Home Club or Home+1 Club are temporarily or permanently suspended.
    1. Celebrity Fitness Membership Agreement/Contract is available in a paper contract or digital contract.
    2. A digitally/electronically signed contract and paper signed contract are legally recognized and shall not be denied of its legal effect, validity, or enforceability.
    3. You will be given a copy of digital signed contract upon joining via email that you have provided to us. Alternatively, you may request to have a printed copy from the Club upon joining.
    4. A paper form contract may be used at the discretion of the Club. A copy of your signed contract will be scanned and attached to your membership profile.

  • You agree to pay the Joining Fee and Administration Fee as stated in the Membership Agreement. These fees are non refundable and must be paid upon registration. Fees may change without prior notice.
  • The Joining Fee, Administration Fee and any prepaid monthly dues are non refundable.
  • Monthly membership dues are due by the first of the month via credit card or direct debit. Non use of the club does not eliminate the obligation to pay dues on time.
  • The maximum amount authorized for charging is three months of dues. If payment cannot be received, you will be contacted to make payment at the Club with an additional handling fee of IDR 30,000. Late payment after the 20th will incur a fee of Rp 50,000.
  • Charges not challenged within 14 days are non refundable.
  • Management reserves the right to terminate membership if dues are in arrears for two consecutive months. Legal action may be taken to recoup owed monies.
  • A member on a terminated membership will have to rejoin and pay full initiation fees.
  • Management reserves the right to introduce and vary membership prices and categories.
  • Changing membership to a lower category will incur a one time fee of Rp 175,000. Upgrading will not incur charges.
  • Celebrity Fitness will increase monthly dues once every 12 months. For prepaid memberships, subsequent renewal amounts may also increase.
    1. Members may "freeze" their memberships by continuing to pay a prevailing freeze fee per month depending on your membership category. Freeze fee is payable in advance.
    2. A member must give notice to the Club by the 20th of the month prior to the first day of the freezing month. Back dating freeze is not allowed. Freeze request shall be processed by Sales and Service Manager written confirmation shall be issued by the Club to confirm the freeze period. 
    3. The freeze period must be for a period of not less than 1 month or a maximum of 12 months and the Member needs to be an active paying member for a minimum of 3 months after joining.
    4. The Time Freeze period always starts on the 1st day of the month and finishes on the last day of the month.
    5. The freezing period does not count towards the minimum term. Freeze may not be used in respect of the notice period for cancellation of membership.
    6. Members may not use the club facilities during this freezing period unless you unfreeze your membership by paying the pro rata dues of the month before the end of freezing period.
    7. Your frozen membership will be reactivated to a full paying membership automatically upon the expiry of the frozen period.

  • Written notice must be received by Celebrity Fitness Indonesia a minimum of one calendar month prior to termination and sent to the Club General Manager. Failure to comply will result in one more billing cycle before termination of membership. Notice of termination has to be received prior to month end for the following month to be considered the final full month of membership.
  • Termination of a membership in frozen status will be subject to a full months dues billing for the notice period.
  • Members can apply for termination of their membership by completing the cancellation form. Any upfront dues already paid are non-refundable.
  • Termination of membership may not take place within the first four months of membership.
  • Upon expiry of membership, the membership card must be returned to Celebrity Fitness Indonesia.
    1. Our staff, agents and subcontractors are not medically qualified, so if you have any doubts about your fitness or capability to exercise, we strongly recommend that you get advice from a doctor first. For safety reasons, you are responsible for correctly using all club facilities. If you are not sure how to use any equipment, always ask a member of staff.
    2. The member warrants and represents that he/she is in good physical condition and that he/she knows of no medical or any other reason why he/she is not capable of engaging in active or passive exercise and that such exercise would not be detrimental to his/her health, safety, comfort or physical condition.
    3. The member shall not use any club facilities whilst suffering from any infections or contagious illness, disease or other ailment such as open cuts, abrasions, open sores or minor infection, where there is risk that such use may be detrimental to the health, safety, comfort or physical condition of other members.
    4. Members and their guests exercise and use the facilities at their own risk and are advised to consult their physician prior to commencing any type of physical exercise.

    The management may terminate the membership of any member:

    • Without notice and with immediate effect if a member’s conduct, whether or not such conduct is the subject of complaint by another member or members, is such that in the reasonable opinion of the Management, it is harmful to the character and/or interests of the Club.
    • Without notice and with immediate effect if the member has committed any breach of these rules or of the Rules & Regulations of The Club as are from time to time in force.
    • If any monthly membership fees or locker fees remain unpaid after the due date for payment.
    • Upon notice in writing, if the Company is of the opinion that the member is not a suitable individual for continued membership of the Club.
    • Without notice and with immediate effect if a member is found to have violated the privacy of any other member within the shower and the changing rooms or are caught in lewd or compromising actions.
    • A member whose membership is terminated by the Management shall forfeit all the privileges of membership with immediate effect without claim of any refund of his/her initial Start-up Fee or Monthly Membership dues, other than any monthly membership dues paid in advance.
    • Upon termination of his/her membership the member shall return forthwith his/her membership card and any other evidence or property of membership provided to that member by the club and shall settle any outstanding debts.

    1. Member introducing guests shall ensure that their guests complete a guest pass and pay the current guest fee for a guest pass.
    2. A guest pass may be used only once per club and not for multiple entries to one particular club.
    3. Guests will have the same membership privileges (except personal training) as the member who introduced them and will be subject to the same club rules and limitations of liability as the member. It is the responsibility of the member introducing a guest to ensure that their guest complies with the Club rules.
    4. The Management reserves the right to exclude any guest from the Club without giving any reason for doing so and change the charges levied on guest passes from time to time.

    1. All members are encouraged to fix an appointment to undertake a fitness evaluation conducted by a Fitness Instructor before starting an exercise program.

    1. The Club's normal hours of operation are indicated at the Club entrance and notice board. The Management reserves the right to adjust the hours for purposes of cleaning, decorating, repairs, special private functions and holidays. The Management shall endeavour to give reasonable notice of any change in operation hours.

    1. All members and guests are required to wear proper gym attire when exercising. A top is required that covers the chest area, no torn clothes are permitted. Closed toe, non-marking, rubber soled shoes are required at all times in the gymnasium and in the aerobics room.

    1. The use of mobile phones with camera features and/or any other types of visual recorders in changing rooms are strictly prohibited. Members breaching this rule will be handed over to the Authorities to be dealt with accordingly.

    Private lockers are available for rent at the prevailing monthly fee which may change from time to time. Locker rental is for a minimum of 6 months and payment must be made upfront together with a deposit. Lockers are not transferable.

    1. Extension of locker rental must be paid at the Front Desk a week before expiry.
    2. A locker key shall be given to the member which remains the property of the Company and must be returned upon termination of locker rental or termination of membership. The deposit will be refunded upon the return of the locker key. In the event the locker key is not returned a week after the termination of locker rental or termination of membership (hereinafter collectively referred to as "the grace period"), the deposit shall be forfeited.
    3. The rental of the locker shall be deemed to have expired if the locker key is not returned within the grace period. The Management reserves the right to empty the locker and deal with its contents accordingly.
    4. The Company recognises the importance of the personal data you have entrusted to us and believe that it is our responsibility to properly manage, protect and process your personal data.
    5. You understand, acknowledge and consent to the Company processing, collecting and using your personal data for the following purposes:
    • Processing, administering and managing your Celebrity Fitness Contract and any membership benefit programs;
    • Processing any transactions or payments made by you and to maintain payment records;
    • Contacting you or communicating with you via telephone call, text message, fax message, email and/or postal mail for the purposes of processing, administering and managing your Celebrity Fitness Contract and any membership benefit programs;
    • For publicity purposes and conducting research, analysis and development activities (including but not limited to data analytics, surveys and/or profiling) to improve our services and facilities in order to enhance the services we provide to you, where you have consented for the Company to do so;
    • Record-keeping purposes;
    • Responding to legal process, pursuing legal rights and remedies, defending litigation and managing any complaints or claims;
    • Complying with any applicable law, regulation, legal process or government request; and

    6. Storing, hosting and/or backing up (whether for disaster recovery or otherwise) your personal data, whether within or outside Indonesia.

    7. Your personal data may be used, disclosed, maintained, accessed, processed and/or transferred to the following third parties, whether in Indonesia or outside of Indonesia, for one or more of the purposes set out above:

    8. The Company's head office, affiliates and subsidiaries;

    • Any of the Company's agents, contractors or third party service providers that process or will be processing your personal data on our behalf including but not limited to those third party service providers which have been engaged by the Company to : (i) to provide and maintain any IT equipment used to store and access your personal information; (ii) to operate the; or (iii) otherwise in connection with the provision of Celebrity Fitness services to you;
    • The Company's auditors and legal advisors;
    • Financial institutions, credit card companies and payment processors; and
    • Public and governmental / regulatory authorities, courts and other alternative dispute forums.

    1. Soliciting and selling private personal training sessions or merchandises to any member are prohibited and shall result in immediate termination of the member concerned.
    2. Daily lockers must be cleared daily. Unclaimed or lost properties will be kept by the club for a period of 1 month after which the Management reserves the right to dispose of the items in any way it sees fit. No claims shall be entertained after this period.
    3. The Management reserves the right to use any individual or group photographs of members and/or guests for press or promotional purposes.
    4. All members must abide by the rules of the Club which may be amended, varied, deleted and added from time to time at Management's discretion.
    5. Failure by the Management to enforce any of their respective rights at any time for any period shall not be construed as a waiver of such rights.
    6. These Rules shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Indonesia and subject to the jurisdiction of Indonesia.
    7. All brandings, design, logos and Club interior follow Celebrity Fitness International brand manual. Any guests or members are not allowed to photograph or copy any club interior designs, promotional materials, tag lines or theme. Celebrity Fitness reserves the right to proceed with legal action to any member caught distributing, sharing or supplying such contents to any third party vendor or competitor.

    In consideration for the Management accepting his/her application for membership of the Club and for him/her becoming and remaining a member of the Club, the member agrees that:

    1. Celebrity Fitness accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to members' or their guests' properties or for death or injuries sustained while on the premises. Members and their guests agree that no claims will be made against the Company, Celebrity Fitness, the Management or staff for any reason whatsoever.
    2. Celebrity Fitness, its associated companies, employees or agents shall not be held responsible for any claims, demands, injuries, damages or actions for negligence arising on account of death or due to injury, loss, damage or theft to a member's person or property arising out of or in connection with the use by a member of any of the services, facilities on the premises of Celebrity Fitness. The member hereby holds the Company, Celebrity Fitness, its associated companies, employees and agents harmless from all claims which may be brought against them by or on a member's behalf for any such injuries or claims aforesaid.
    3. Any guest of a member or a temporary visitor to the Club shall agree to abide with the Club rules and the same limitation of liabilities for a member shall apply.
